ABOUT CAMILLE
Camille Cimino
Landscape designer Camille Cimino, a Los Angeles native, was raised with a love and respect for nature, which started when she helped grow vegetables and compost on her grandparents' half-acre farm. She went on to work with a Fortune 500, "Top 100 Best Companies To Work For" organization with a focus on sustainability and closed loop manufacturing.
Now, with close to 30 years of experience, Camille has an extensive background in sustainable, drought tolerant, and low maintenance landscaping. In addition to graduating from Cal Poly's College of Environmental Design in Regenerative Studies, her educational background includes degrees in History, Liberal Arts and Anthropology, Art History, a Permaculture Design Certificate, and continuing education from UCLA's Landscape Architecture program
Camille also has a deep well of experience in edible garden design and landscaping, which includes work with Seed To Skillet authors Jimmy Williams and Tony Kienitz and Tomatomania author Scott Daigre. One of her premier projects was co-designing the Childrens' Edible Garden at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.
She also worked on the design and development of gardens at the Muse School with founder Suzy Cameron.
